Front shovel corn thresher:

-Working principle: By moving the vehicle, the "U" - shaped shovel tray at the front end collects corn from the ground. The auger inside the shovel tray sends the corn into the conveying channel, which is then transported to the threshing mechanism through the conveyor belt and scraper. The roller in the threshing mechanism rotates at high speed, using components such as a swinging hammer to peel off corn kernels from the corn cob. The corn cob and corn kernels are separated through a sieve, and then the dust and light impurities are blown away by a fan to complete threshing.

-Structural features: Usually equipped with a hydraulic front shovel, some models have widened front shovels to improve feeding efficiency. There are transmission channels, conveyor belts and other conveying components, as well as multiple threshing drums, such as three-axis, five axis or six axis threshing drums. Some machines are equipped with fully enclosed driver's cabins, providing a comfortable operating environment, and are equipped with telescopic suction drums and rotatable high-level unloading devices for easy unloading.

Working principle:

(1) Feeding process

Usually equipped with a spiral front shovel or an air suction feeding device. The front shovel can directly lift corn ears from the ground and feed them into the machine through a conveyor chain or auger conveyor; Wind suction uses negative pressure to suck corn ears into the feed inlet, adapting to different stacking scenarios (such as ground and corn storage).

(2) Threshing process

The corn ear enters the threshing drum (usually a multi axis drum, such as a five axis or six axis drum), and the wear-resistant blocks, nail teeth, or ribs on the drum interact with the concave plate (fixed screen like component) during high-speed rotation, peeling the corn kernels from the ear shaft through impact, rubbing, and tearing. During the threshing process, the cob moves backwards with the rotation of the drum and is ultimately discharged from the core discharge port.

(3) Selection and Separation Process

A: Screening: The detached corn kernels, broken kernels, impurities, etc. enter the screening box (such as a double-layer specific gravity sieve), and through the vibration of the screen surface, use the differences in specific gravity and size of different materials to separate qualified corn kernels, remove broken cores, rotten seeds, etc.

B: Wind selection: equipped with multiple sets of fans, generating airflow to suck away corn leaves and light impurities (such as dust and corn whiskers), further purifying corn kernels. Some models can also collect dust to reduce pollution.

(4) Unloading process

The clean corn kernels after cleaning are transported to the grain storage bin through conveying devices such as auger conveyors and telescopic suction drums, and then unloaded to the transport vehicle through a hydraulic controlled high-level unloading device (which can rotate 360 °), completing the entire operation process.
